Estrogen-related receptor beta (ESRRB), also known as NR3B2 (nuclear receptor subfamily 3, group B, member 2), is a nuclear receptor that is encoded by the ESRRB gene in human. ESRRB with sequence similarity to the estrogen receptor, a member of nuclear hormone receptor family of steroid hormone receptors. ESRRB binds a canonical ESRRB recognition (ERRE) sequence 5'TCAAGGTCA-3' localized on promoter and enhancer of targets genes regulating their expression or their transcription activity.
