  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody is specific for GABA-A-R-Alpha5. It does not cross-react with GABA-A-R-Alpha2. GABA-A-R-Alpha5 is a ligand-gated chloride channel subunit which is a component of the heteropentameric receptor for GABA, the major inhibitory neurotransmitter i
  • Application Supplier Note
This antibody was used for a western blot on mouse cell lysates (Davenport et al, 2020; PMID:33096025). Western blot was preformed on mouse hippocampal protein samples with this antibody (Gruol et al, 2018; PMID:29787738). Lysates from L3 to L5 DRG and the ipsilateral dorsal section of rats were used for western blot with this antibody (Franco-Enzastiga et al, 2020; PMID:32750173). Western blot was preformed on human brain, and on KO mouse brain with this antibody (Gong et al, 2016; PMID:26644354).
