Overview
- SupplierAbsolute Antibody
- Product NameAnti-gHgL [CL40]
- Delivery Days Customer7
- Application Supplier NoteThe antibody blocks EBV-mediated membrane fusion with both B cells and epithelial cells and it retains its inhibitory activity as a monomeric Fab. Flow cytometry cell counts showed that Fab fragment inhibits virus entry. Neutralization experiments with epithelial cells using an EBV-GFP reporter virus and purified Fab were performed. Fluorescence images obtained at 24 h postinfection and flow cytometry cell counts showed that the Fab inhibits virus entry. Fab inhibition of cell-cell fusion and EBV infection exhibited similar concentration dependence. (PMID: 28939750) The cell-surface expression of gHgL was evaluated using the antibody by CELISA.
