The identification of sporozoite-neutralizing antibody was done using ELISA (PMID: 10768951). This antibody in combination with PLA2 or LL37 was also used in the generation of a biocide fusion proteins to kill C. parvum sporozoites in vitro and in vivo (PMID: 20086143).
