This antibody can bind Hantaan virus (HNTV) GP in an ELISA. The binding of this antibody HTNV GP expressed on the cell membrane was determined using flow cytometry. This antibody can also recognize HNTV GP in a western blot. It was also reported that this antibody can be internalized into the cytoplasm of HTNV infected Vero E6 cells. This internalization was studied with the use of immunofluorescence staining (PMID: 20012277).
