The binding reactivity and affinity of this antibody towards HBV pre-S2 protein was determined using ELISA. The original mouse IgG1 version of this antibody was reported to bind pre-S2 protein of HBV with a binding affinity of Kd= 1.2 nM (PMID: 10509818).
