Overview

  • Supplier
    Absolute Antibody
  • Product Name
    Anti-Histone H4 [1A9D7]
  • Delivery Days Customer

  • Antibody Specificity
The antibody specifically recognizes simultaneous acetylations at K5 and K8 of histone H4. Lysine acetylation of core histones is one of the major posttranslational modifications involved in the control of eukaryotic gene expression.
  • Application Supplier Note
The specificity of the original format of the antibody for histone H4 proteins containing di-acetylation of K5acK8ac was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody detected the histone H4 proteins containing at least the di-acetylation of K5acK8ac western blot analysis. The crystal structure of the complex of di-acetylated histone H4 and 1A9D7 Fab fragment was determined (Handoko et al., 2018; PMID: 30080437).
