The antibody specifically binds a determinant shared by human HLA-A2 and A28, but does not cross react with Aw68, or Aw69 antigens.

This antibody was used in the flow cytometric analysis of HLA class I antigen expression levels on Lymphoblastoid cell lines and class I deficient mutant cells (PMID: 9820600).
