A rabbit antiserum raised against human complement SC5b-9 protein. SC5b-9 is the soluble version of the terminal complement complex (TCC). The TCC is a multi-protein complex consisting of complement proteins C5, C6, C7, C8, and multiple copies of C9. This complex forms pores in the cell membranes, causing lysis and ultimately cell death.
