The specificity of this antibody was confirmed in ELISA analysis. The antibody detected the recombinant chIL-17A by western blot on CU205 cells. The antibody was used with Con A-stimulated splenocytes in Northern blot analysis (Yoo et al, 2008; pmid: 18022248). The cross-reactivity of the antibody to chIL17 with duck IL17 was evaluated by indirect ELISA. The antibody bound moderately to duIL17 (Yoo et al., 2009; pmid: 19573930).
