This antibody is highly specific for binding to Junin virus and does not cross react with Machupo virus. This antibody is capable of binding JUNV in an ELISA. This antibody neutralized HIV-1-based virus particles, pseudotyped with full-length JUNV GP and rLCMV/JUNV-GP chimeric viruses in an in vitro neutralization assay (PMID: 35315691).
