    This antibody is specific for the Kcnu1 protein. Kcnu1 is a testis-specific potassium channel activated by both intracellular pH and membrane voltage that mediates export of K+.

    This antibody was used to preform a western blot on mouse oocytes and the testis of SLo3 knockout mice (Yang et al, 2011; PMID:22084117) (Santi et al, 2010;PMID:20138882). Immunopercipitation on mouse oocytes has been preformed with this antibody (Yang et al, 2011; PMID:22084117).
