The original version of this antibody was used to localize l.pneumophila in an immunocytochemistry experiment (Gerhardt et al., 2000; PMID: 11040443). This antibody coupled to dynabeads was used to separate intracellular legionellae from MonoMac 6 cells (Wieland et al., 2002; PMID:12076798) (Neumeister et al., 2005; PMID:15747062).
