The binding characterization of this antibody to the TES1 polypeptide of the LMP1 protein of Epstein-Barr virus was done using ELISA. This antibody can selectively block F-LMP1-induced NFkappaB activity that was mediated through the TES1-site and to bind LMP1 protein with high efficiency (PMID: 14659750).
