This antibody can be used for the detection and analysis of the fusion (F) protein of the Mojiang virus via ELISA, IP and Western blot. This antibodys Fab has been shown to bind LayV F via biolayer interferometry. Also, postfusion LayV F in complex with the 4G5 Fab was assessed via CryoEM (Wang et al., 2023; PMID: 37645760).
