This antibody recognizes and binds the BVD virus non-structural protein NS5B. Bovine viral diarrhea is an economically significant viral disease of the cattle which is reported to cause production losses.

This antibody can successfully detect the BVD virus non-structural protein NS5B in an ELISA. This nanobody inhibited the progeny virus and functions to inhibit the proliferation of BVD virus (CN106380516).
