  • Scientific Description
Recombinant Antibody. This antibody reacts to tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins. No cross reactivity with nonphosphorylated tyrosine, phosphoserine, and phosphorthreonine. Applications: WB, IP, ICC, IHC, FACS, ELISA . Source: Rabbit. Liquid. 50% Glycerol/PBS with 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide. Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that is used by cells to synthesize proteins. Some of the tyrosine residues can be tagged (at the hydroxyl group) with a phosphate group (phosphorylated) by protein kinases. In its phosphorylated form, tyrosine is called phosphotyrosine. Tyrosine phosphorylation is considered to be one of the key steps in signal transduction and regulation of enzymatic activity. Phosphotyrosine can be detected through specific antibodies. - Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that is used by cells to synthesize proteins.
