This antibody reacted with both PVY-O and PVY-T13 strains of Potato virus Y in an ELISA, microprecipitin and western blots (Oshima et al., 1994). This antibody was also used in a double antibody sandwich ELISA for detection of Potato virus Y in the leaves from plants with necrotic tubers symptoms (PMID: 30831903).
