    The binding of this antibody to nucleocapsid protein of SARS-CoV was confirmed using ELISA. The presence of nucleocapsid protein in serum of SARS patient was checked using sandwich ELISA and it was found that soluble N18 scFv antibody could detect as low as 10 ng/ml nucleocapsid protein in the sample (Zhao et al., 2007).
