This antibody was raised by immunisisng BALB/c mice with an eukaryotically expressed SIRPalfa-Fc fusion protein consisting of the extracellular domain and emulsified with complete Freund’s adjuvant and followed by two subsequent boosts of SIRPalfa-Fc fusion protein emulsified with IFA (Lee et al., 2007).
