    Tetanus is a medical condition caused by the action of a potent neurotoxin produced by Clostridium tetani and characterized by prolonged contraction of skeletal muscle fibres. The binding activity and specificity of the antibody fragment was established by its reactivity toward tetanus toxoid in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and immunoblot analysis. F13 Fab is capable of neutralizing tetanus toxoid. The neutralizing activity was determined by flocculation assay (PMID: 24678405).
