  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody is specific for murine VISTA.
  • Application Supplier Note
The specificity of this antibody has been confirmed in both ELISA and flow cytometry (Wang et al, 2011). This antibody has been used in flow cytometric analysis to assess VISTA expression in murine lupus models (Ceeraz et al, 2017; Sergent et al, 2018) and mice infected with HSV-1 (Srivastava et al, 2018). This antibody has been shown to block VISTA, and enhances T cell proliferation in vitro (Wang et al, 2011). In mice models, this antibody exacerbates experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (Wang et al, 2011) and murine arthritis and lupus disease progression (Sergent et al, 2018). The use of this antibody to achieve a VISTA blockade enhances anti-tumour immune responses in mice models of both transplantable and inducible melanoma, suppressing tumour growth (LeMercier et al, 2014).
