Antibacterial agent 88 (Compound 5h) is a potent antibacterial agent with MIC values of both ≤0.0156 microg/mL against MRSA, MRSE and S. aureus. Antibacterial agent 88 also inhibits B. subtilis with an MIC of 4 microg/mL[1].
