Antitrypanosomal agent 13 (compound 4b) is a potent antitrypanosomal agent. Antitrypanosomal agent 13 has trypanocidal and cytotoxic activity with GI50 values of 0.18 and 8.4 microM for T. brucei and HL-60, respectively[1].
