Bactobolamine, an immunosuppressant, suppresses IL-2 production in CTLL cells at a concentration of 200 microg/ml and extends heart allograft survival in both MHC-compatible and MHC-incompatible rat pairings at a dosage of 200 mg/kg. Additionally, it enhances lifespan in rat liver and canine kidney allograft models.
