  • Host
    Rabbit
  • Isotype
    IgG
  • Protein IDP13945
  • Protein Name
    Beta-3 adrenergic receptor
  • Scientific Description
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of beta adrenergic receptors, which mediate catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. This receptor is located mainly in the adipose tissue and is involved in the regulation of lipolysis and thermogenesis. Obesity and bodyweight-related disorders are correlated with certain polymorphisms in three subtypes of beta-adrenoceptor, among them, the ADRB3 gene.[provided by RefSeq, Oct 2019]

Figure 1. IF analysis of ADRB3 using anti-ADRB3 antibody (A02104-3). ADRB3 was detected in immunocytochemical section of U20S cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent (AR0022) for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. And then incubated with 2microg/mL rabbit anti-ADRB3 Antibody (A02104-3) overnight at 4°C. DyLight?488 Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (BA1127) was used as secondary antibody at 1:100 dilution and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. The section was counterstained with DAPI. Visualize using a fluorescence microscope and filter sets appropriate for the label used.
