Bevantolol hydrochloride is a selective beta1 and alpha1-adrenergic receptor antagonist with pK i values of 7.83, 6.9 in rat cerebral cortex, respectively. Bevantolol hydrochloride is a potent Ca 2+ antagonist [1] [2] .
