Boc-Asp(OBzl)-Pro-Arg-AMC is a fluorogenic substrate for the determination of protease activity. Boc-Asp(OBzl)-Pro-Arg-AMC undergoes hydrolysis and releases the fluorescent product 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC). The excitation and emission wavelengths are 351 nm and 430 nm, respectively [1] .
