BODIPY FL DHPE, a green-fluorescent phospholipid probe, specifically targets and labels the lipid 1,2-dihexadecanoyl-sn-glycero-phosphoethanolamine (DHPE). When labeled, these liposomes can subsequently be internalized through membrane fusion. This compound is particularly useful for studying both membrane surfaces and the process of membrane fusion. (lambda ex =505 nm, lambda em =511 nm) [1].
