Cinnamyl-3,4-dihydroxy-alpha-cyanocinnamate (CDC) is a potent and direct inhibitor of 5-LO (5-Lipoxygenase) that reduces 5-LO activity in cell-free assays. CDC also inhibits 12-LO and 15-LO.
