Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Immunofluorescence: 1-5 ug/ml. Flow Cytometry: 2 ug/ml. Western Blot (chemiluminescence): 0.1-1 ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry (frozen/paraffin): 5 ug/ml. No pretreatment usually needed but some tissues may stain better after pretreating with heat or pressure cooker. Note: In frozen or paraffin sections of normal human colon, the non-dividing cells of colonic epithelium will stain positive for p21 while the proliferating compartment of crypts will not stain. Immunoprecipitation (non-denatured): 2 ug/IP reaction. Immunoprecipitates p21 but not associated proteins..
