Cerberus

The Cerberus 1/CER1 protein emerges as a cytokine that may be involved in preneural induction and somite formation during embryogenesis, in part through its inhibitory effect on BMP signaling. Its regulatory role extends into gastrulation, where it can influence nodal signaling and contribute to primitive streak formation and patterning. Cerberus 1/CER1 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived Cerberus 1/CER1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.
