In a Western blot, the anti-GFP used at between 1:3000 and 1:5000 dilution could detect 10 ng of GFP in an A549 cell lysate (see image). Optimal conjugate working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions.

Chickens were immunized with recombinant full-length bacterial gonococci Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) [Neisseria gonorrhoeae] expressed in E. coli cells. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified.
