Chitotriose trihydrochloride is an orally active chitooligosaccharide with antioxidant activities. Chitotriose trihydrochloride inhibits hydroxylation of benzoate to salicylate by H2O2 in the presence of Cu2+ (IC50 value of 80 microM)[1].
