What is CosmoSonic ® -One, a sealed ultrasonicator This is a crushing device that applies ultrasonic waves to a tube containing a sample in a water tank. Since ultrasonic treatment can be performed with the lid of the tube closed, there is no scattering or contamination. Simultaneous processing of multiple samples (0.5ml tubes x 12, 1.5ml tubes x 8) is possible. By applying ultrasonic waves in a bathtub filled with cooling water, there is no local temperature rise inside the tube, which is a problem with the drop-in type. Processing from 0.5ml tube to 50ml centrifuge tube is possible with various accessories. For tubes with a capacity of 10ml or more, use an autoclavable resonance rod to increase crushing efficiency. Features Ultrasonic generator, crushing tank, and sound deadening box are all integrated into a compact unit. Dedicated cold water circulator is easier to operate. Dedicated cold water circulator (CR-02) sold separately. The number of samples processed in 1.5ml and 0.5ml tubes is increased compared to the conventional CosmoSonic ® II Type6. Safety design that stops operation when the cover is opened.
