Cycloheximide, an antifungal antibiotic, is an eukaryote protein synthesis inhibitor with IC50 of 532.5 nM and 2880 nM for protein synthesis and RNA synthesis in vivo, respectively. Cycloheximide suppresses ferroptosis and inhibits autophagy.Solutions are unstable and should be fresh-prepared.This product is a hazardous chemical (acute toxicity/flammable/skin corrosive).
