Cymarin, a cardiac glycoside, potently inhibits the Palytoxin (PTX)-induced K + release ( IC 50 =0.42 microM). Cymarin reveals an antitumor activity against breast cancer and pancreatic cancer. Cymarin exhibits antifeedant and growth inhibitory effects as crop protectant [1] [2] [3] [4] .
