    Dihydro-beta-erythroidine (DHbetaE) hydrobromide is a potent, orally active, and competitive antagonist of neuronal nAChRs . Dihydro-beta-erythroidine hydrobromide shows selectivity for alpha4beta4 and alpha4beta2 nAChRs, with IC 50 s of 0.19 and 0.37 microM, respectively. Antidepressant-like activities [1] [2] [3] .
