    DS2 is a selective positive allosteric modulator of delta-GABAA receptor. DS2 selectively potentiates GABA responses mediated by alpha4beta3delta receptor. DS2 does not enhance activity at alpha4beta3gamma2 and alpha1beta3gamma2 receptors. DS2 relieves pain and has the potential for sleep disorders research[1].
