EEF1A1 is a translation elongation factor that catalyzes GTP-dependent binding of aminoacyl-tRNA (aa-tRNA) to the ribosomal A site during protein synthesis. This involves mRNA codon-aa-tRNA anticodon base pairing, leading to GTP hydrolysis and aa-tRNA release in EEF1A1. EEF1A1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived EEF1A1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag.
