EphA2 protein is a receptor tyrosine kinase that promiscuously binds to ephrin A ligands to initiate bidirectional signaling. EphA2 is activated by ephrin-A1/EFNA1, regulates cell migration, adhesion, proliferation and differentiation, modulates DSG1 and inhibits ERK1/ERK2 signaling.
