    Ethacridine lactate (Acrinol) is a widely used antiseptic and abortifacient. Ethacridine lactate is effective against Staphylococcus aureus and other gram-positive cocci. Ethacridine lactate is also a poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase (PARG) inhibitor [1] [2] [3] .
