The FCRL2 protein regulates normal and neoplastic B cell development and has been shown to be involved in complex processes that control B cell maturation. Its tyrosine-phosphorylated isoform 2 interacts with PTPN6, suggesting the existence of a signaling pathway and emphasizing the role of this protein in cellular regulation.
