  • Protein Name
    Ferritin light chain
  • Scientific Description
This polyclonal reacts with ferritin isolated from human spleen. Ferritin is a main iron storage protein. The antibody may facilitate the analysis of ferritin in serum for an iron nutritional determination. Low values of iron are associated with iron deficiency, while high levels may indicate a malignant disease, tissue damage and other iron overload.
