Flavonol has antioxidant, free radical-scavenging, antibacterial properties, and immune modulation functions. Flavonol inhibits the PriA helicase of Staphylococcus aureus. Flavonol can suppress the production of NO in LPS-activated RAW 264.7 cells by inhibiting the expression of the iNOS enzyme.
