Human recombinant Fibronectin type III domain-containing protein 5 (FNDC5), also known as Irisin, Fibronectin type III repeat-containing protein 2, and FRCP2, GenBank Accession No. NM_153756, a.a 32-143, with a C-terminal Avi-His-Tag, expressed in a HEK293 cell expression system and enzymatically biotin-labeled using Avi-tag™ technology. Biotinylation is confirmed to be ≥90%. MW=16 kDa. This protein runs at a higher MW by SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation.
