Gallein is a G protein bètagamma (Gbètagamma) subunit signalling inhibitor. Gallein disrupts the interaction of Gbètagamma subunits with the PI3Kgamma. Anticancer agent. Gallein used as a red dye, an acid-base indicator and as a detection reagent for phosphates.
