Ganglioside GD3 disodium salt is an acidic glycosphingolipid. Ganglioside GD3 disodium salt inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells, affects the opening of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (PTPC), induces apoptosis and activates caspase family.
