Gentamicin (sulfate) (Standard) is the analytical standard of Gentamicin (sulfate). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Gentamicin sulfate, an orally active aminoglycoside antibiotic, inhibits the growth of both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and to inhibit several strains of mycoplasma in tissue culture. Gentamicin sulfate inhibits DNase I with an IC50 of 0.57 mM[1][2][3][4].
