- Scientific DescriptionGreen fluorescent protein (GFP) and its mutant enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) are widely used to detect the efficiency of gene expression as well as the expression and distribution of target proteins. As a tagging protein, GFP causes the fused target protein to autofluoresce, enabling the localisation of target genes in cells without the need to rely on antibodies or probes, and with little interference from other substances. TargetMols GFP Tag Magrose Beads use an anti-GFP antibody as a ligand that specifically binds to GFP, EGFP, and their fusion proteins without binding to BFP tagged proteins. With superparamagnetic properties, fast magnetic response, abundant hydroxyl functional groups, and uniform particle size, the GFP Tag Agarose Beads series is an important tool in medical and molecular biology research. GFP Tag Agarose Beads can be used for the detection and purification of GFP, EGFP, and their fusion proteins, as well as for immunoprecipitation (IP) experiments.
